A Day in my Life as a Designer

A Glimpse Behind the Scenes of My Daily Work

In this blog post, I invite you to take a look behind
the scenes of my work and my way of working.

1. Step: Strategic Morning Briefings for Informed Starts

This first step involves my daily routine. I begin my workday by receiving a brief update or briefing from my team. This initial interaction with the team helps me stay informed about ongoing projects, goals, and tasks. It's a proactive approach to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that I start the day with a clear understanding of what needs to be accomplished.

2. Step: Creative Ideation During Collaborative Meetings

During the meeting, I actively engage with the information. I begin to daydream about creative ideas and how these ideas can be integrated into the existing framework or context. This reflects my creative and innovative approach to problem solving and idea generation.

3. Step: Visualizing and Organizing Ideas Through Sketching

The third step is my method for organizing my thoughts after the initial brainstorming. I begin to scribble or sketch my ideas. This visual representation of my thoughts helps me to clarify and structure my ideas. I also mention that I will share these sketches with my team during the discussion at the next team meeting. This collaborative approach allows for feedback and further refinement of ideas.

4. Step: Prototyping for Enhanced Idea Validation

The fourth step focuses on the practical application of my creative ideas. I begin building a prototype, which is a tangible representation of my ideas. This prototype serves two purposes: visualization and testing. It helps visualize the concept for myself and others, and it allows me to conduct tests to gauge customer behavior and reactions. This step is crucial for refining and validating my ideas before implementing them into a project or product.
